My stay at Gm Doc Let Beach Resort & Spa was enjoyable despite a few shortcomings. The beach location and friendly staff made a big difference, though the hotel isn't quite what you'd expect for a four-star rating. Overall, it was a relaxing experience with decent amenities.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms felt a bit outdated and could use some cleaning. the beds were uncomfortable and the hot water had a tendency to be inconsistent. Still, everything was in working order.
Service
7.0
The staff were warm and friendly, always greeting me with a smile. However, they could be slow to respond, especially when it came to drink service by the beach.
Location
8.0
I loved the beachfront setting with clear water and small waves. It was a bit isolated though, making dining options limited outside the hotel.
Dining
6.0
The hotel restaurant had nicely prepared food, but I found it to be overpriced compared to nearby options. The breakfast buffet was decent with egg and noodle stations.
Facilities
7.0
The resort had two swimming pools and a small gym, which I enjoyed. However, the lack of sufficient sockets in the room was inconvenient.

5.8/10

My stay was a mixed experience at Gm Doc Let Beach Resort & Spa. The location is beautiful, right on the beach with clear water, perfect for relaxing. However, the beds in my room were uncomfortable, and the bathroom had some issues. On a positive note, the food was delicious and very affordable! Overall, I enjoyed my time but there were significant areas for improvement. 🌊🌴

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was clean but had some uncomfortable features. The beds were not good, and there was a rusty kettle with very low water pressure in the shower. I also had issues with the hot water, which wasn't consistent. Next time, I would hope for better bedding and bathroom facilities.
Service
6.0
While most of the staff were friendly and greeted me warmly, some interactions felt a bit off. There were moments when communication was a struggle due to the language barrier. I felt that at times, they seemed frustrated, possibly because they were used to a different type of guest. Overall, some staff were really good, but others could improve.
Location

This resort is situated in a stunning area right on the beach, with beautiful gardens surrounding it. However, it's quite remote, which limits dining options within walking distance. If you're looking to explore or find different food choices, you'll need to go out a bit. But if you enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle, it’s a great spot!
Dining
6.0
The hotel's restaurant had a nice breakfast buffet with options like eggs and noodles, but I found it a bit overpriced compared to nearby dining options. I did find a cheap little restaurant next door that served delicious meals for only 25 vnd! The variety of food at the main restaurant was good, but I think I preferred eating out.
Facilities
7.0
The resort features two swimming pools, which were nice, and the beach is right there as well. However, I noticed some facilities, like the gym, were fairly basic and not very updated. I appreciated the daily cleaning service and having a mini bar, but there could have been more electrical sockets available in the room for convenience.

Located right on the beach with clear waters and small waves, it was perfect for relaxation. however, the surrounding area felt a bit trashy.

6.2/10

My stay at Gm Doc Let Beach Resort & Spa had its ups and downs. On the plus side, the beach location is stunning with clear water, and the friendly staff made me feel welcome. However, the room left much to be desired with uncomfortable beds and a bathroom that could use some serious updates. Overall, it was affordable, but I wouldn't call it a luxury resort experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was clean but had an outdated mattress that was totally flattened. The bathroom was close to ugly with mold present and hot water that didn't work consistently during showers.
Service
6.0
While the staff were friendly and smiling, the language barrier posed a challenge. I struggled to communicate as most of them didn't speak English.
Location
6.0
I loved the beach right outside, but other food options nearby were limited and not too appealing. The hotel is a short drive from the local bus station, which was convenient.
Dining
6.0
The food was surprisingly cheap and tasty, but the breakfast buffet was pretty ordinary for Western tastes. The hotel restaurant seemed overpriced compared to local options.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has two swimming pools and a small outdoor gym, which were nice features. However, wifi was a bit slow, and there weren't enough power sockets in the room.

I found my stay to be a mix of pros and cons. On one hand, the food is fantastic and incredibly affordable, making dining a delight. However, the room's amenities were lacking, especially with uncomfortable beds and inconsistent hot water in the shower.

Rooms
5.0
The room had cupboards with no doors, and while it was clean, the amenities like the kettle were rusty and the shower had low pressure and unreliable hot water.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling and greeting me, although English communication was a bit of a challenge at times.
Location
7.0
The location is superb as it's right on the beach with clear water, though it's a bit isolated and not much good food nearby.
Dining
8.0
Dining was a highlight for me; the food at the restaurant was cheap and delicious, though it might be slightly geared towards Russian tastes.
Facilities

The hotel offered nice facilities like two swimming pools and a small gym, but the spa services didn't meet my expectations.
